Das Freiluftkino Hasenheide wurde Ende der 80er Jahre des letzten Jahrhunderts eröffnet.
Zuvor war es eine Operetten- und Theaterbühne, die in den 5oer-Jahren auf Trümmerschutt des 2. Weltkriegs erbaut wurde.
2001 haben wir das Kino vom Bezirksamt Neukölln gepachtet.

Seit 2021 hat das Kino zwei Bühnen. Nach unserer Kenntnis ist dies nicht nur in der Region, sondern deutschlandweit einmalig. 
Täglich, während der gesamten Saison, zeigen wir am Nachmittag einen Film für Kinder und Familien. 
Dazu haben wir eine Zeltbühne errichtet, bei der die Bildwand gegen das Tageslicht abgeschirmt ist. Dazu einen Projektionsturm.
Das Programm ist sehr beliebt und obwohl die Bühne mittlerweile 180 Plätze hat, empfiehlt es sich, bei TOP-Filmen frühzeitig Tickets zu sichern.
Die "Neue Bühne", wie wir sie nennen, ist barrierefrei. Es können auch problemlos Kinderwagen mitgebracht werden und wir rücken dafür einen Stuhl zur Seite. 
Für das erste Kinoerlebnis ist das Kinderprogramm im Freiluftkino Hasenheide ideal. Es wird nicht dunkel, keine schwere Tür fällt zu Beginn des Films zu, die Lautstärke ist moderat.

Wenn ihr die Kids alleine ins Kino bringen möchtet,könnt ihr auch im Forum, rund um den Kiosk chillen, einen Cappuccino trinken und die 100 Film-Minuten entspannen.

Nach der Kindervorstellung gibt es eine Vorabend-Show. Meist Filmkunst, die sonst eher nicht in den Berliner Open-Air-Kinos läuft und ein paar Wiederholungen aus dem Abendprogramm. Praktisch für Menschen, die gerne mit Einbruch der Dunkelheit wieder nach Hause wollen.

Dann beginnt die Hauptvorstellung auf der alten Bühne, die bis zu 800 Personen fasst.

About our open-air cinema

The Hasenheide Open-Air Cinema opened in the late 1980s.
Previously, it was an operetta and theater stage built in the 1950s on the rubble left over from World War II.
In 2001, we leased the cinema from the Neukölln District Office.

Since 2021, the cinema has had two stages. To our knowledge, this is unique not only in the region but throughout Germany. 
Every day, throughout the season, we show a film for children and families in the afternoon. 
For this, we have set up a tent stage where the screen is shielded from daylight, along with a projection tower.
The program is very popular, and although the stage now has 180 seats, we recommend securing tickets early for top films.
The New Stage, as we call it, is accessible. You can easily bring strollers, and we’ll move a chair aside to make room. 
The children’s program at the Hasenheide Open-Air Cinema is ideal for a child’s first movie experience. It doesn’t get dark, no heavy door slams shut at the start of the film, and the volume is moderate.

If you want to bring the kids to the cinema on their own, you can also chill out in the Forum, hang out by the kiosk, have a cappuccino, and relax for the 100 minutes of the film.

After the children’s showing, there’s an early evening show. It usually features arthouse films that don’t typically screen at Berlin’s open-air cinemas, along with a few reruns from the evening program. This is convenient for people who’d like to head home once it gets dark.

Then the main showing begins on the old stage, which seats up to 800 people.
